Name: Amelia
Nicknames: Er...anything you can come up with really. I've had Mia, Millsy, Melia, Milly, Meals-on-Wheels, Amms...

Age: 15
Location: Western Australia

School: I'm in my second-last year of high school, and I plan to start an Interior Design degree next year at TAFE, while still continuing on with my studies. I want to go to university once I've finished school, in 2009.

Interests: I like literature, drawing and dance. I'm interested in fashion, and love to design things. I used to play soccer and swim a lot, and I loved that at the time, but now I really enjoy doing classes at the gym. I'm really interested by Japanese culture, and would LOVE to learn more about it...but maybe after I've survived school. I love traveling, especially skiing (I wish it snowed over here) and can't wait to visit Japan and Canada!

Motto: "The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is to love...and be loved in return" from Moulin Rouge

Favorite movies:
I am Sam, Lost and Delirious, Moulin Rouge, Step Up, Peter Pan, PotC, The Lake House; all those early movies produced by Disney, and all those by Studio Ghibli.

Favorite books: Tales of the Otori, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Starthorn Tree, Time Stops for No Mouse and Jonathon Strange & Mr Norrell.

Favorite music: Well...that's a pretty loaded question, but some of the artists that I listen to at the moment are Shiny Toy Guns, Hellogoodbye, Hinder, Snow Patrol, Nickelback and Aqua.

I love your quote, that's really gorgeous!

The Lake House was a really cool movie! It was sort of one of those ones, when you leave the theater it's like... woahhh. And it takes a while to let everything settle in, and then you can start to figure things out.

I'm so excited that you listen to the Shiny Toy Guns!! They're so awesome. My friend from Florida introduced me to them about a year or two ago, they're so amazing. And of course Hellogoodbye! I went to see them in concert!! =)

Moulin Rouge! Good lord I am addicted.
My boyfriend and I have seen it 8 times. =D
Mia, we're pratically twins! I love the book Memoirs of a Geisha! The movie made of it was gorgeous too.
The Lakehouse is also my favoritest because it has Keanu Reeves in it.

Quote :
In 1900, Christian, an impoverished writer who has come from Scotland the year before, types his story: he arrived in Montmartre and fell in with Toulouse-Lautrec and Bohemians who believe in freedom, truth, beauty, and love. They want to sell a show to the Moulin Rouge, and its impresario wants a backer so he can build a proper theatre. He's plying a duke, who wants exclusive access to the favors of Satine, the Moulin Rouge's consumptive star. She wants to be a proper actress, so the duke's offer is fine - except that she and Christian fall in love. Can Satine keep the duke at bay without losing his patronage, will he discover the lovers and kill Christian, and can love trump jealousy?

Nicole Kidman is. I don't know... there's a bunch of people. But I have a terrible issue with remembering actor's names.
