Amen, I dislike most types of rap and country. It's pretty much the only types of music I can't stand.

yeah. I haven't read the last one either. I don't really want to buy it... seeing as I'd probably read it in a day and never pick it up again so I'll wait till my library gets it (or more copies of it).

I knoow, my library doesn't have it either. It bothers me.
It's one of those things you love and you always forget about it until you're at Barnes & Noble.

yeah. i'll probably buy it (or make my mom buy it for me xD) at target or something when I'm done reading the uglies series.

The Uglies? That's a strange name. What's it about?

It's a trilogy. By Scott Westerfeld. It's kind of sci-fi (got it for my b-day) and I'm surprised that I like it so much. But, i'll do my best to summarize w/o giving it away:

the first book is about a girl named tally. she lives in a futuristic society where people are sheilded from everything bad. in her civilization, everyone gets an operation that makes then "pretty." like extreme plastic surgery. tally's one of the youngest out of her "dorm" so, when her best friend peris moves to new pretty town (where the pretties live) tally decides to sneak over the river to see him. she has to evacuate the building by using bungee jackets and ssets of the fire alarm. she hid from athorities in a bush, where she met a girl named shay. shay and tally instantly click, becoming best friends. shay teaches tally how to hoverboard and how to sneak into the rusty ruins (the cities we live in now would be known as the rusty ruins then) and she even shows her a roller coaster! to make things greater, their birthdays are on the same day, so they'll get there operation at the same time. one week before the operation, shay brings up running away to a place called the smoke. no one's classified as pretty. just normal. the smoke is in the middle of the wilderness, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. the worst part is is that the city doesn't know about it. all they know is that people keep dissappearing. tally doesn't want to go; she wants the operation. shay leaves to go to the smoke without her. on the day of tally's operation, she's whisked off to special circumstances. but, why? DUN DUN DUUUNNN!

I get really creeped out by sci-fi but it sounds like a good summer read!

it's not creepy... it just keeps you on the edge of your seat.
